Just look around & you would get thousands of wanna be travelers who struggle hard to make money so they can buy luxuries during their next travel. A lot of people have been affected by a highly infectious decease called as “social media check in” & the only medication to this problem is traveling to places where your friends and families have already visited or might plan to visit in coming days.
Sounds funny right?
It is funny!
If you think traveling and staying in luxury hotels is what real traveling means, you are absolutely wrong. An ideal traveler would never care about what luxury, he or she will be getting during their visit. Their object would be to explore the beauty of the location and enjoy the moment to an extent that stays with them forever. Here are few more things that makes you an ideal traveler:
You know you can’t have the luxury of getting clean toilets. Sometimes, you have to adjust with the road sides too which it okay if you are exploring some unusual locations which might not be having toilets only.
Since putting on check’s is not your priority, you are fine by staying in normal hotel rooms which are available at cheaper rates comparatively. Keeping the budget in mind, anyways, you prefer low budget hotels.
If exploring location is your priority, you would not like to carry extra stuff like designer bags, jewelery or 3-4 pair of footwear. You would want to carry only necessary items like clothes, 1 or max 2 pair of shoes, torch, medicine kit etc.
Different locations offer variety of food to try but some people still stick to what they eat back home. An idea traveler would be open to trying local food and delicacies being offered at particular locations.
Your reasons for visiting would not be like your uncle or friend has visited some location and you want to go there too or they should not go before you. You would always prefer to visit offbeat locations above those that are extremely crowded (for obvious reasons).
If you can relate to all these things above, you are a born traveler. Go explore the world because traveling teaches you what can never learn in a classroom. A week spent in traveling is way above than a month studied in a classroom
Happy Traveling!
Also, a real traveler would surely love to explore: Malana, Ladakh and various other parts of India and outside.
