Very recently I’ve come across to a bunch of new friends who have been talking about various locations, they have traveled recently. Their list of places included- Honk Kong, Austria, Parag, Bora Bora Island, Bali, California, Switzerland etc. They have been traveling quite frequently though but places from India are not in their hit list at all. They no longer want to visit any part of our country, for these reasons:
So, they are trying to say that all the mountains are no more, beaches are drained, and valleys are flooded with mud? These places that pulled lakhs of travellers from around the world and are still pulling them here is all towards those vacant lands with no beauty at all?
Yes, this can be a case. Working people, who get free time to spend over the weekends, often travel to nearby places to explore and to kill time.
Valid enough? Right? So basically, we don’t want to explore places that can be done within lesser budget. Now, this sounds like a very valid kind of reason!
What should I say, I had been one of those who always thought India is not that great a place until I had explored some extraordinary places here. One of the most amazing locations for me, so far, has been Ladakh and Turtuk (last village of India), Khajjiar (Switzerland of India) in North of India, Hampi in South, Rann of Kutch in West.
Now, my urge of knowing what these foreigners see in our country has risen to another level and I wish to see what more India has to offer.
Let me go again and come back with a new list of beautiful places in India.
